Meet the Artist
Venturing into the abstract world over the last decade, has mirrored my life. What appears to be one thing can often be something else. An outer appearance of calm, order, balance, can be a mask for chaos, overwhelm or fracture.
Motherhood, identity, work, body - change can feel like loss at first. Like something has broken, or slipped. But change is also a forming. It’s elastic in motion. It’s the moment something new starts to show itself, even if it doesn’t feel beautiful yet.
My art allows me to start understanding why I am rather than who I am.
If there's one thing I have learnt to bring to the forefront, it's that the only thing we ever have is the present moment. I wanted to capture that moment and create something beautiful from it.
Enjoy x
